The state of Florida and Lake County does not currently require testing. But some families do like to test at the end of their school year just to measure progression and get a sense of what might be needed in the coming year.
The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) has published a document that includes a list of standardized test and that can be found here: https://www.hslda.org/highschool/docs/Choosing_Ordering_Standardized_Tests.pdf
They also have a page on their website dedicated to testing information and that can be found here: https://www.hslda.org/earlyyears/Testing.asp.
Here are some quick links to the test mentioned in their documentation and a link to the Metropolitan Achievement Test that was shared with us.
- Iowa Test of Basic Skills
- Stanford Achievement Test
- California Achievement Test
- California Achievement Test (not timed)
- Comprehensive Test of Basic Skills (CTBS)
- Metropolitan Achievement Test
